Hello, and long time no write! I’ve been neglecting my blog recently as I just haven’t had the motivation to write content. Honestly, much of my free time is now dedicated to my YouTube channel as I just love talking about books and sharing recommendations. If you like reading and watching BookTube, please check out my channel! With that being said, I’ve been meaning to get to this post for a while. We went on lots of autumn adventures in 2024 – here are some highlights that I’d like to share with you!
Bournemouth and The New Forest
In October, we visited Bournemouth and The New Forest on a very drizzly, windy day. It was refreshing, and there were hardly any other people on the beach! It’s convenient to go off season as there is easy parking and dogs can go off lead on the whole beach! As usual, we enjoyed a delicious fish and chips lunch, which has become a wintery tradition; see Autumn Bournemouth Beach Visit. We went home via The New Forest and were so lucky to see the wild horses! It’s such a beautiful place to go for a walk, especially in autumn with all the yellow leaves.
Pumpkin Patch
A visit to the pumpkin patch was a first for me in the UK! We had wonderful weather and had a charming, memorable time.
Halloween
Halloween was extra special this year, with lots of firsts! Wilbur and I handed out candy and I ran out by 6:30! There were some fabulous costumes and it was the perfect misty, spooky weather.
White Horse Hill
The last time I went to White Horse Hill was a few months after Lucy and I started dating. Oh, how life had changed! White Horse Hill is a Bronze Age site with a giant chalk horse picture on the hillside. It was also a windy, chilly day, but you just have to embrace it and be an all weather family.
Christmas Wishes
This will be my last post of 2024. From my family to you and yours, have a wonderful Christmas and I’ll see you in 2025!
