As I write this on Christmas Eve, I feel so grateful that I’ve made it to another Christmas happy and healthy. This past year has been incredibly hard. My heart goes out to all those who are having a difficult time, and to those who are okay, but still not so great. We will get through this together. 2020 seemed to freeze time and 2021 has been this ongoing blur of trying to resume normality in a world full of uncertainty.
My heart feels full that I get to have a peaceful Christmas, even if I can’t visit my family in Canada. I’m lucky to have a wonderful partner and Lucy’s loving family. I know that when I do make it home it will be a much anticipated reunion. For now, I’ve got peaceful Christmas music playing in the background, treats baking in the oven, and a little Wilbur asleep by my side.
I’m hugely thankful to my readers for engaging with my content. I hope you enjoy learning about greenwashing and sustainability, and have tried a few of my recipes. I’m excited to see what next year brings and I hope you continue to join me on my adventures. I wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a celebratory New Year.
